Endemism of Suborder Caelifera (Orthoptera, Insecta) in Turkey

Abstract: In this study, endemism of the Caelifera (Orthoptera, Insecta) in Turkey has been evaluated. From our studies related to Caelifera and examining of relevant literatures, the taxa of Caelifera recorded from Turkey and their distribution was listed. It was seen that 85 taxa (species-subspecies) (%37) of those 227 are endemic to Turkey. Remained 142 taxa are also distributed out of Turkey.
