Synthesis of new substituted 2,2-bis-(3,5-di-t-butyl-4-hydroxybenzyl)benzocycloalkanones, bromopropiophenones, and their alcohol analogs

Abstract: A new series of substituted 2,2-bis-(3,5-di-t-butyl-4-hydroxybenzyl) benzocycloalkanones, bromopropiophenones, and their alcohol analogs were synthesized. The corresponding alcohols may act as potential allosteric modulators of GABAB receptors.
