Photoluminescence in the Solid Solutions of TlIn_1-x Gd_x S₂.

Abstract: The luminescence spectra, photo and electroconductivity were investigated in layer TlIn_1-x Gd_x S₂ mixed system. Observed luminescence bands were assigned according to band gap and donor-acceptor recombination. Mechanism of substitution of In³⁺ ions by Gd³⁺ ions in the recombination processes is also discussed.
